|
(Nashville, TENN. January 10, 2012) Due to a drop in blood donations over the holidays, the current supply of type O negative and type B negative blood has declined at the American Red Cross. Donations from donors with type O negative and B negative blood are needed now! All presenting donors will be entered to win a $1,000 home improvement gift card and through January 13, presenting donors will also be entered to win a tablet computer valued at $500. We know your time is precious. We hope one of the following blood donation opportunities is convenient for you. One donation can help save up to three lives.
If you prefer to donate on another day, please visit redcrossblood.org to locate another blood donation opportunity in your area. Eligible donors with types O positive and negative, B negative and A negative blood are encouraged to donate double red cells where available. Please make your appointment today by calling the Red Cross at 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visiting redcrossblood.org. Thank you for being part of our lifesaving mission!
