The Tennessee Highway Patrol (Trp Ryan Hill) responded to a two vehicle crash involving a single fatality on State Route 64 (Shelbyville Hwy) and Hunter Lane at approximately 7:30 a.m. this morning, Wednesday, February 6th.  It appears a vehicle with two occupants, a 16-year old driver, Jackie White, III, and his passenger, 11-year old Liam White, was traveling eastbound on State Route 64, when the Jackie crossed the double center line and struck the back left corner of another vehicle, driven by Steven Snyder, which was traveling westbound on State Route 64. The vehicle traveling westbound was also pulling a trailer, which was also struck by the teenager during the collision.

Jackie White, III was killed in the collision.  His 11-year old passenger, Liam White, was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center.

The driver in the other vehicle, 44 year old Steven Snyder, was not injured.
