|Tennessee Department Of Safety Sobriety Roadside Checkpoints and Drivers License Checkpoints for August 2013|
The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting driver license sobriety roadside safety checkpoints in Marshall County on the following date in August:
August 2, 2013 at 11 pm on State Route 50 and the 0 mile marker
They will also conduct driver license roadside safety checkpoints on these dates:
August 9, 2013 at 10 am on State Route 64 at the 2 mile marker
August 30, 2013 at 8 pm on State Route 50 at the 0 mile marker
Recognizing the danger presented to the public by unqualified drivers, Troopers will concentrate their efforts on vehicles being operated by drivers who violate the driver license laws of Tennessee.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol has found these driver license roadside safety checkpoints to be an effective means of enforcing driver license laws of Tennessee while ensuring the protection of all motorists.
