|TENNESSEE BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION ARRESTS LINCOLN COUNTY MAN|
NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Lincoln County man for stealing from his employer.
Robert Vann Dupree, 47, of Elora, was arrested Monday on two warrants charging him with theft and burglary. While working for the South Central Human Resources Agency in Fayetteville, Dupree charged his employer’s fuel card for personal use. The fraudulent charges were made on South Central Human Resources Agency accounts between September 2012 and February 2012. In addition, on January 23, 2013, Dupree unlawfully entered the South Central Human Resources Agency facility after hours, obtained a set of master keys, entered several offices and took household items that had been donated by area businesses intended to be given to families in need. Dupree also served as a member of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department posse which is its reserve deputy program. The 17th Judicial District Attorney General requested TBI investigate the allegations in March of 2013.
Dupree was booked into the Lincoln County Jail on $1330 bond.
