LEWISBURG, Tenn. – Halloween is an exciting time for young people. To help ensure the night is as safe as possible, Marshall Medical Center offers the following safety guidelines for trick-or-treaters and those enjoying other Halloween festivities:
In addition to safety rules, keeping good nutrition in mind can benefit children and adults alike, according to Dr. William A. See III, D.O., a board-certified pediatrician associated with Family Health Group Pediatrics in Lewisburg.
“Be sure that your children eat a well-balanced meal before heading out on Halloween. They will be less likely to fill up on treats,” said Dr. See. “If you are hosting an event, consider offering healthy snacks such as fruits, vegetables and cheese as well as low-calorie drinks.”
