Dixon Retires From TN Technology Center

James Dixon, a veteran educator and currently serving as the Director of the Tennessee Technology Center at Pulaski, has announced his plans to retire on June 30, 2012.  Dixon’s distinguished career spans some 40 years serving in different capacities such as High School History Teacher in Ripley, Tennessee, Counselor at the Ripley State Area Vocational School, Assistant Director and his current position as Director of TTC-Pulaski.  Dixon’s tenure at TTC-Pulaski extends 30 years from 1982 – 2012.

    In response to Dixon’s announcement to retire, Tony Creecy, TTC-Pulaski Assistant Director stated that “James Dixon has been an outstanding leader who can be characterized as innovative, a visionary, and one that was tireless in his dedication in guiding TTC-Pulaski to being recognized as one of the top technology centers in the state.”
