LEWISBURG, Tenn. — Marshall Medical Center (MMC) will join community partners to offer free sports physicals for middle and high school students in two separate events this month.
High school screenings
Physicals for high school student athletes will be offered on Wednesday, April 18, from 1:30 until 5 p.m. These screenings are for students entering grades nine through twelve at Marshall County High School, Cornersville High School and Forrest High School.
Middle school screenings
Physicals for middle school students will be offered on Thursday, April 26, from 3 until 5 p.m. These screenings are for student athletes entering grades six through eight in Marshall County.
Both screening events will be held at the Marshall Medical Office Building, located at 1090 North Ellington Parkway, next door to the medical center. Clinics will be held in Suite 101 on the first floor.
Physicians on the medical staff at MMC will be joined by physical therapists, athletic trainers, nurses and other providers to conduct the free screenings. Assisting MMC in offering the screenings will be providers from Lewisburg Family Practice, Lewisburg Pediatrics, Mid-Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic, Celebration Family Care, Fast Pace Urgent Care and PCL Express.
