Marshall County Board of Public Utilities met in an emergency meeting on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 and instituted a strict water restriction until June 11, 2019. Strict water restrictions is no watering of lawns, gardens, washing houses, sidewalks, driveways, filling of swimming pools or any other unnecessary usage. The strict water restriction is due to the extremely low levels of water in storage tanks. This is primarily for the northwest corner of Marshall County however any non-necessary use of water is appreciated.
From June 11, 2019 until June 25, 2019 the MCBPU has mandated a less restrictive usage allowing the filling of pools, water lawns, and gardens limited to odd/even calendar days corresponding with odd/even house numbers.
Addresses ending in even numbers may water on calendar days that are even. Addresses ending in odd numbers may water on odd number calendar days.
