City of Lewisburg Meetings April 2023

1. The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold a work session Tuesday, April 4th at 5:00 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

2. All offices of the City of Lewisburg will be closed on Friday, April 7th in observation of the Good Friday Holiday.

3. The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold their regular monthly meeting, Tuesday, April 11th at 6:00 p.m. at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

4. The Airport Board of the City of Lewisburg will meet Monday, April 17th, 2:00pm at Lewisburg Ellington Airport, 1877 Franklin Pike.

5. The Lewisburg Recreation Advisory Board will hold their regular meeting Tuesday, April 18th, – 5:00 p.m. in the large conference room at the Lewisburg Recreation Center, 1551 Mooresville Hwy.

6. Lewisburg Gas Dept. Monthly Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 18th, at 4:00 P.M., at 505 N. Ellington Pkwy.

7. The Budget Committee for the City of Lewisburg will meet on Wednesday, April 19th, at 2:00 p.m. at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 E. Church Street.

8. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A SPECIAL CALL MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LEWISBURG is to be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street immediately following the completion of scheduled interviews for the City Treasurer position at 3:30p.m. The purpose of the Special Call Meeting will be for considering and taking such action as the Council may deem necessary and to the public interest relative to the following item (s) of business:

a. Selection of a City Treasurer.
b. Discuss plan for filling the City Attorney vacancy.

9. The Mayor and Council for the City of Lewisburg will conduct interviews for a City Treasurer on Wednesday, April 19th beginning at 3:30p.m. at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 E. Church Street. The public is welcome to attend.

10. The Community Development Board of the City of Lewisburg will hold their regular monthly meeting Tuesday, April 25th at 12:00 p.m., at the Historic 1st Avenue Building, located at 207 1st Ave. N.

11. The Cemeteries Advisory Board for the City of Lewisburg will meet on Tuesday, April 25th at 4:00p.m. at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 E. Church Street.
