Haislip Reinstated as City Manager at the Special Called Meeting Vote on Friday, August 16th

On Friday, August 16th, a Special Called Meeting was held at the Lewisburg Recreation Center by the Lewisburg City Council to discuss reinstating Roy “Bam” Haislip as City Manager. There was a lengthy discussion period from many concerned citizens and the City Council that began at 3 pm and a Special Call Vote was held at 5 pm.

There are five members of the Lewisburg City Council. The Council voted to reinstate Roy “Bam” Haislip as the Lewisburg City Manager by a 4 to 0 vote. Councilman Joe Bradford, who made the motion to release Haislip as City Manager on Tuesday, August 13th, did not attend this Special Called Meeting or Special Called Vote.
