Marshall County Meetings November 2025

  1. The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities will hold their regular monthly meeting Tuesday, November 18, 2025, 9:00 am at 624 West Commerce Street, Lewisburg, TN in the Doug Rogers Board Room.

  2. The Marshall County IT Committee will meet on Wednesday, November 5th at 10:00 am. This meeting will be held at the Courthouse Annex Room 2204.

  3. Council meeting is Monday November 10th at 6:00 p.m. due the City of Lewisburg offices will be closed on November 11th, 2025, for observance of Veterans Day Holiday.

    5) Old Business:
    a. Consider approval of second reading of Ordinance 25-15, an ordinance amending the fiscal year 2025-2026 budget amendment #1.
    b. Consider approval of second reading of Ordinance 25-16, an ordinance by owner request for rezoning property located at 540 Vista Street (Map 064O, Group B, Parcel 001.00) within the corporate city limits of Lewisburg, from “C-2” (Intermediate Business) to “I-2” (Industrial Park). Planning Commission gave a favorable recommendation by a vote of 6-0 on September 16, 2025, meeting.
    Owner: Flying Hawk Properties, LLC
    6) New Business:
    a. Consider approval of the appointment of Ken Lilly to the Industrial Development Board by Council. Term is until June 1st, 2031.
    b. Consider approval of the appointment of Michael Tipper to the Industrial Development Board by Council. Term is until June 1st, 2031.
    c. Consider approval of the appointment of Emily Darnell to the Community Development Board, which will replace member Jennifer Pearson’s seat. Term is until June 30, 2026.
    d. Consider approval of City of Lewisburg employees’ Christmas Bonus of $100.00 to be paid in December payroll 2025.
    e. Consider approval of Resolution 25-28, a resolution to apply for the Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Grant. This grant will reimburse the city 50% on vest purchases for law enforcement officers.
    f. Consider approval of first reading of Ordinance 25-11, an ordinance repealing Title 13 Property Maintenance Regulations and adopting the 2024 International Property Maintenance Code as the new Title 13.
    g. Consider approval of first reading of Ordinance 25-17, an ordinance by owner request for rezoning property located at 400 Creekside Drive (Map 071D, Group A, Parcel 003.00) withing the corporate city limits of Lewisburg, from “C-2” (Intermediate Business) and “HDPUD” (High Density Planned Unit Development to “LDPUD” (Low Density Planned Unit Development). Planning Commission gave a favorable recommendation by a vote of 5-0 on October 21, 2025, meeting. Owner: Allan Michie and Donnetta Michie
    7) Other Business:
    a. City Manager Report.
    b. Director’s Report.
    c. Any other additional business or announcement.
    d. Motion to adjourn.
  5. The Marshall County Education Committee Meeting will meet on Thursday, November 13th at 5:00 pm. This meeting will be held at the Courthouse Annex Room 2212.
