Early Monday morning the Lewisburg Police Department received a notice to be on the lookout for an adult female who had made an alarming threat in a therapist session in Rutherford County. The therapist was obligated to report the threat to the proper authorities, but the name of the female involved is being withheld at this time.
The threat was made in Rutherford County and the BOLO was sent out to Eagleville, Shelbyville, Murfreesboro, Marshall County, and the surrounding area. All police and sheriff’s offices were alerted; however, no direct threat was made to any school in Marshall County. No threat was made directly to any one person in Marshall County. The threat was made in Rutherford County.
The female who made the threat that started the incident this morning was apprehended in Lewisburg at First Commerce Bank on Ellington Parkway by the Lewisburg Police Department.
According to Chief Scott Braden, the woman in question has been detained for evaluation. The investigation will be ongoing in conjunction with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department.
