VACANCY ON MARSHALL COUNTY COMMISSION (SECOND DISTRICT)

A Vacancy exists on the Marshall County Board of Commissioners in the Second District following the resignation of Joseph Warner. Anyone desiring to fill the unexpired term of this seat is encouraged to apply with a letter of intent to the County Mayor’s Office, 1108 Court House Annex, Lewisburg, TN 37091 by 3:00 p.m. May 2nd, 2023.

The applicant may also appear at the May 22nd, 2023, County Commission meeting and ask the County Clerk to include his or her name with those desiring the appointment. Applicants must have a seated Commissioner nominate them the night of the Commission meeting.

The applicant must be a registered voter and reside in the Second District of Marshall County. This position will be filled during the Monday, May 22nd, 2023, meeting that begins at 6:00 p.m. in Room 2204 of the Courthouse Annex located at 101 West Commerce Street, Lewisburg, TN. The appointment will be to fill the 2nd District Board of Commissioners position until the term expires on August 31st, 2024.
