1. There will be no Industrial Development Board regular monthly meeting in December 2025.

2. The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold a regular monthly work session on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 E. Church Street.

3. The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold a Public Hearing Monday, December 9th, 2025, at 5:50 p.m. at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street, followed by their regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. The public hearing will be to hear comments or opinions concerning the following:
1. Consider approval of second reading of Ordinance 25-11, an ordinance repealing Title 13 Property Maintenance Regulations and adopting the 2024 International Property Maintenance Code as the new Title 13.
2. Consider approval of second reading of Ordinance 25-17, an ordinance by owner request for rezoning property located at 400 Creekside Drive (Map 071D, Group A, Parcel 003.00) within the corporate limits of the City of Lewisburg, from “C-2” (Intermediate Business) to “HDPUD” (High Density Planned Unit Development to “LDPUD” (Low Density Planned Unit Development). Planning Commission gave a favorable recommendation by a vote of 5-0 on October 21, 2025, meeting. Owners: Allan Michie and Donnetta Michie.

4. The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold their regular monthly Council Meeting, Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.
There will be no Lewisburg Parks & Recreation Advisory Board regular monthly meeting in December 2025.

5. The Lewisburg Water & Wastewater Board will hold their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., at Lewisburg Water Department, 100 Water Street.

6. The City of Lewisburg Planning & Zoning Commission will meet in their regular session on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., at the City of Lewisburg, 131 East Church Street. (Schedule subject to change).

7. The Lewisburg Gas Board will meet in their regular session on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., at Lewisburg Gas Department, 505 North Ellington Pkwy.

8. The Budget Committee for the City of Lewisburg will meet on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 E. Church Street. (Schedule subject to change).

9. All offices of the City of Lewisburg will be closed on Wednesday, December 24th, 2025, and Thursday, December 25th, 2025, in observation of the Christmas Holidays.

10. The Lewisburg Electric System will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday December 29th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., at the Lewisburg Electric System, located at 599 West Ellington Pkwy.

11. There will be no Community Development Board regular monthly meeting in December 2025.
All offices of the City of Lewisburg will be closed on Wednesday, December 31st, 2025, in observation of the New Year’s Eve Holiday.

With the cold temperatures, the warming shelter at First United Methodist Church- McKnight Center will be open Monday night from 6pm until 7am Tuesday morning.

 

The Marshall County Board of Education will meet on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Conference Room, 700 Jones Circle.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting sobriety roadside safety checkpoints during the week of 11/28/25 on STATE ROUTE 50 at mile marker 0 in Marshall County starting at 8:00PM.

Impaired driving is a serious crime that kills more than 16,000 people and injures 305,000 people every year in the United States. Troopers will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment. Troopers will target those who operate a vehicle while impaired and take corrective actions for other violations observed while ensuring the protection of all motorists.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol recognizes that sobriety checkpoints are highly visible and effective tools in the battle against impaired driving.
