CITY AND COUNTY OFFICES TO CLOSE IN OBSERVANCE OF PRESIDENT’S DAY 2026, FEBRUARY 16TH

1. All offices of the City of Lewisburg will be closed on Monday, February 16th, 2026, in observation for Presidents’ Day.

2. The Marshall County Courthouse, Courthouse Annex, and Hardison Annex will be closed on Monday, February 16th in observance of Presidents’ Day.

3. The Marshall County Probation Office will be closed on Monday, February 16th in observance of Presidents’ Day.

4. The Marshall County Building Codes and Zoning Office will be closed on Monday, February 16th in observance of Presidents’ Day.

"In 2013, the Lewisburg Animal Shelter Volunteers began a twice-weekly program on WJJM called “Marshall County Pet Patrol”. The purpose was two-fold, first to talk about new intakes with the hope of finding their rightful owners and second, to help find adopters by describing all of our current residents in detail. The results have far exceeded our expectations, and thanks in a big way to our radio exposure our adoption rates have increased significantly. Thank you to the entire staff at WJJM, and our sponsor, Veterinary Services of Chapel Hill…together we are saving the lives of precious fur babies."
