11/12/25
The public is invited to join the Robert Lewis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution at Allen Cemetery in Caney Spring on December 13th at 11:00 a.m. for the annual Wreaths Across America ceremony. This day and time will coincide with the same ceremony held each year at Arlington National Cemetery.
Allen Cemetery is the final resting place for fifty-two veterans, and the ceremony will include calling each veteran’s name and placing a Remembrance Wreath on their graves. Wreaths Across America has been celebrated since 1992 when 5000 wreaths were donated and place on veterans’ graves at Arlington.
Today, Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization and thousands of volunteers coordinate their efforts each year to honor and remember America’s fallen heroes in cemeteries across the country. Join the Robert Lewis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in this impressive ceremony as we remember those who served our country and protected our freedoms – some in war – some in peace. Let’s never forget.
