Loomis Truck Guard Robbed at Ascend Credit Union In Lewisburg

On August 20, 2025 @ approximately 8:33 AM, Lewisburg Police responded to an armed robbery at the Ascend Credit Union ATM machine located at 1372 Rock Crusher Rd. Upon police arrival they discovered the Loomis truck guard had been robbed while servicing the ATM machine.
The suspect is a black male driving a darker colored sedan believed to be a Toyota Camry.
We are currently working with the FBI as the investigation goes forward.

The purpose was two-fold, first to talk about new intakes with the hope of finding their rightful owners and second, to help find adopters by describing all of our current residents in detail. The results have far exceeded our expectations, and thanks in a big way to our radio exposure our adoption rates have increased significantly.
