Marshall County Meetings, August 2025

1. The Marshall County Solid Waste Committee will meet on Thursday, August 7th at 5:00 pm. This meeting will be held at 611 Hawkins Drive, Lewisburg, TN.

2. The Marshall County Education Committee will meet on Thursday, August 14th at 5:00 pm. This meeting will be held at the Courthouse Annex Room 2204.

3. The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities will hold their regular monthly meeting Tuesday, August 19, 2025, 9:00 am at 624 West Commerce Street, Lewisburg, TN in the Doug Rogers Board Room.

4. The Marshall County Budget Committee will meet on Wednesday, August 20th at 8:30 am. This meeting will be held at the Courthouse Annex Room 2204.

5. The Marshall County IT Committee will meet on Thursday, August 21st at 10:00 am. This meeting will be held at the Courthouse Annex Room 2204.

6. A Public Hearing will be held on Monday, August 25th at 5:30 pm at the Marshall County Courthouse Annex, Lewisburg, Room 2204. 

7. Marshall County Board of Commissioners’ regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 25th at 6:00 pm following the public hearing in the Courthouse Annex Room 2204. A copy of all resolutions may be reviewed on the Marshall County website 5 days prior to the meeting. 

8. County Emergency Communications District Board of Directors will have their regular scheduled monthly meeting at 9:00 AM on Tuesday August 26th, 2025. The meeting will be held at the Marshall County EOC office located at 230 College St., Lewisburg, TN.

9. The Marshall County Personnel and Policy Committee will meet on Thursday, August 28th at 1:00 pm. This meeting will be held at the Courthouse Annex Room 2204.

"In 2013, the Lewisburg Animal Shelter Volunteers began a twice-weekly program on WJJM called “Marshall County Pet Patrol”. The purpose was two-fold, first to talk about new intakes with the hope of finding their rightful owners and second, to help find adopters by describing all of our current residents in detail. The results have far exceeded our expectations, and thanks in a big way to our radio exposure our adoption rates have increased significantly. Thank you to the entire staff at WJJM, and our sponsor, Veterinary Services of Chapel Hill…together we are saving the lives of precious fur babies."
