Marshall County Meetings, September 2025

1. The Marshall County Solid Waste Committee will meet on Thursday, September 4th at 5:00 pm. This meeting will be held at 611 Hawkins Drive, Lewisburg, TN.

2. The Marshall County EMA Committee will meet on Monday, September 15th at 5:00 pm. This meeting will be held at 230 College Street Suite 101.

3. The Marshall County Planning Commission will meet on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Marshall County Courthouse Annex, Lewisburg, TN. 2nd floor, room 2204. Agenda to be published at marshallcountytn.com.

4. The Marshall County Board of Commissioners Regular Monthly Meeting will be held on Monday, September 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Marshall County Courthouse Annex in Lewisburg. There will be a period for public comments that will not exceed 30 minutes at the beginning of the meeting. 

4. The Marshall County Emergency Communications District Board of Directors will have their regular scheduled monthly meeting at 9:00 AM on Tuesday Sept 23, 2025. The meeting will be held at the Marshall County EOC office located at 230 College St., Lewisburg, TN.

5. The Marshall County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a meeting on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Marshall County Courthouse Annex, 2nd Floor, Room 2204, Lewisburg, Tennessee.

1. Consideration of an agricultural use classification, pursuant to TCA 13-7-114, for property located at 3429 Verona Caney Road, Lewisburg, TN 37091.

"In 2013, the Lewisburg Animal Shelter Volunteers began a twice-weekly program on WJJM called “Marshall County Pet Patrol”. The purpose was two-fold, first to talk about new intakes with the hope of finding their rightful owners and second, to help find adopters by describing all of our current residents in detail. The results have far exceeded our expectations, and thanks in a big way to our radio exposure our adoption rates have increased significantly. Thank you to the entire staff at WJJM, and our sponsor, Veterinary Services of Chapel Hill…together we are saving the lives of precious fur babies."
